All of the items on this site are designed and hand made by, or under the watchful eye of Sir Adrian. Exeter born Sir Adrian has a lifelong interest in the BDSM, and a particular love and fascination for traditional English C.P. He is regularly found at fetish events and is a keen and experienced player when it comes to C.P /discipline type scenarios.

One fact that Sir Adrian has observed over the years is that good quality implements are often very difficult to find. Those that are to be found are often poorly made, mass produced and over priced, as well as lacking in distinction. Basically, if you want black with silver studs….you are OK, but those of us who require something just a little different are frequently left disappointed.

Sir Adrian has always worked as a psychiatric nurse, however due to serious illness, he had to make an abrupt change in career. Sir Adrian has been an accomplished woodcarver since he was a small boy, and whilst convalescing from his illness, he learned to apply these same skills to working with leather. Once recovered, he began making paddles, tawses and floggers for his own use and took them to fetish events. However, he soon found that other guests were approaching him and literally buying these items out of his hands, meaning he frequently came home and had to make himself a new set of implements before he could play again. So he decided that he would use this opportunity to build a new career and a new life for himself.

Thus…The Old Paddle Shop was born. Sir Adrian now brings his outstanding work and designs to the marketplace. So now, fellow devotees of the BDSM lifestyle find good quality goods and unique items, without costing the earth. Furthermore, customers are now able to have their own unique items specially commissioned and personalised, often for little or no extra charge! As well as this website, Sir Adrian is a regular trader at the Bristol Fetish Emporium, Maison De Sade in

Weston-Super-mare and the Birmingham Bizarre Bazaar, where he is only too happy to demonstrate his paddles and for those who wish it…..his skill in using them!)
